Usui Reiki History

What is Reiki?

Reiki is a Japanese word meaning “Universal Life-Force-Energy”. Reiki is a system for channeling that energy to others for the purpose of healing. It is a safe, gentle, non-invasive form of hands-on healing.

The practitioner lightly places their hands on or above parts of the body to transmit Reiki, slowly moving  around the various areas of the body until the energy is complete.

Recipients report their experience of Reiki includes increased energy, reduction of pain, deep relaxation  and a general feeling of well being.

Reiki initiation attunes a practitioner to become a channel for the Reiki energy and is a powerful,  life-changing experience for physical, mental and spiritual growth.

Through Reiki Practice there is an entering into the Presence of God. The Flow of Healing, Peace,  Abundance, Joy, Love and Happiness begins.
